Microblading, also known as Microstroking, is a procedure of tattooing tiny deposits of pigment into the upper layer of the dermis. It is considered permanent just like traditional body art. The pigments differ from traditional body art, therefore, it sits higher in the dermis, and is subject to fading. Touch ups will be needed every 1-2 years due to exposure to UV light, facial maintenance, products used, etc. The results are beautiful and natural hair-like strokes to create a fuller and more enhanced appearance. Machine application is also an option. It can either be combined with microblading, or on its own, to create a soft powdery brow. Permanent cosmetics are especially beneficial for anyone with poor visibility and dexterity, allergies, and for time saving steps in daily makeup application.
